Our billboard campaign is designed to inspire young people to embrace springtime by simply taking that first step outside. We went through an extensive process to create designs that were engaging and eye-catching to our target audience. We explored various internet culture phrases, found inspiration in abstract line-art illustrations, bold fonts, and brighter colors. The final designs consist of a series of billboards that build hype, starting with "Coming Soon" billboards with a 'drop date' (the first day of Spring), leading to three main designs that aim to create cognitive dissonance with their titles, encouraging the viewer to get out and enjoy nature. With these billboards, we hope to inspire young people to log off and enjoy spring.
